A+A - Accommodate & Accentuate
Accommodate is spelled incorrectly within this installation, due to its rapid production. This problem has been duly noted.
The first in a weekly series of "Poster Performances", which are quickly produced works installed on a weekly basis around the Knoxville area. The first was in response to the following Edith Gruson quote (of Dutch firm TRAAST + GRUSON.)
"I want the space I design to accommodate and accentuate the actions and interactions of those who use them – to give them all the more reason to be there."
The imagery is from various on-goings of the Art & Architecture building at the University of Tennessee, snapshots that I've stored over the past year or so. There are also 12 xerox copies of the introductory section of the TRAAST + GRUSON book EXPOSED from which I found the quotation. These are offered to anyone passing by that wishes to gain more insight on these ideas brought up by the installation.
